An incredible day of music, fun int eractive stations, Workshops, (ie)Briscoe Music Interactive Electronic DJ Workshop, Skateboard Park,\n\nSept 6 This year we are teaming up w ith Labour Council in support of creating solutions for the job loss i n our City, great bands, 2-4pm Popeyes Golden Theory Workshop and more ..\n\nSept 7 with Labour Day Parade all are invited to join us in the Fix Our World Section leading to Dundurn Park, call and confirm if you want to participant. Line-up at 9:30 am Second section of parade line up location TBA\n\nOur Events\nSecond, along with our interactive webs ite, we organize events, concerts and festivals where artists, musicia ns, organizations, schools, youth groups, clubs, local business, unite to educate our citizens through displays, workshops, guest speakers, technology, focusing on youth, our future generation.\n\n\nThis is als o a way of honouring our community members who are making a difference in these areas, gaining recognition and support for them.\n\n\n*Raisi ng Funds* We chose to raise funds during these events for 4 local and 4 global organizations\n\nLOCAL- Cafe Adonai, CURE Canada, Fix Our Wor ld Foundation, Christopher Clause's Out of The Cold.\nGLOBAL- Make Pov erty History, The Stephen Lewis Foundation, David Suzuki Foundation, O xfam Canada\n\nGlobal Movement\nChapters\nWe are reaching out to other s to become a Fix Our World Chapter and mirror our events. Each event will be linked on our Web page to show the struggles and accomplishmen ts each area faces and achieves.\n\n\nOur Events are annual where we w ill update each year the changes that have been made and where help is needed both locally and globally in an effort to Fix Our World. Lastl y, we are involving local schools, groups, etc.. asking them to make a banner for the issue(s) of their choice to be signed by their staff, students, etc.. and later will be sent to the G8 Leaders at an upcomin g G8 summit.
