Dear Members and Friends,

With the Holiday season upon us, the HFAC would like to invite you to join us for a relaxed open house on December 19 at 6pm, hosted by our friends at the Artword Artbar. The HFAC executive and Community Committee will be on hand to welcome our members and friends. We will take the opportunity to announce the HFAC's very exciting program for Black History Month, in February of 2014. The executive and CC will also be on hand to discuss on going Cuba friendship work, including the recent and extremely successful Africa’s Unknown War Symposium in Toronto. The symposium commemorated the 25th anniversary of the Battle at Cuito Cuanavale. We would also like as 2013 comes to a close to thank the many individuals and organizations that have made Hamilton Cuba Friendship work a success!

The cost is free. There will be light refreshments on hand and a cash bar. We hope you will join us for some holiday cheer and discuss with other members and friends on going events in Cuba. As we prepare to usher in a new year of friendship between Cubans and Canadians, we look forward to our last gathering of 2013 and to many more in 2014!
