We are participating in Stewards of Cootes Watershed Clean Up this Sunday Mar 24 at 1pm meeting at Princess Point at the end of Longwood Rd. across from Bayfront Park Hamilton.  We have Street Team members coming from different areas of Hamilton, Dundas, Stoney Creek including a bus of 30 plus International Students from Columbia College!  We are happy to have such a turnout to help document our findings.  Our data base is ready for input and our team is ready for action.  Thank you to all who are coming out to help, you are really making a difference!

Popular New Zealand skateboarder Levi Hawken wants to reduce the trash that ends up on the streets and in the oceans. For his I Will If You Will challenge, Levi will skate through the streets of Auckland and film it, if 500 people pledge to reduce rubbish and plastic use by using reusable drink bottles or coffee cups.

According to safebottles.co.nz, a person uses an average of 168 plastic bottles each year. That means, if 500 people pledge to drink from reusable bottles a year, we will save using 84,000 bottles!

Help prevent plastic bottles from ending up in our landfills and oceans.
