Footprints
One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed that he was walking on a beach with the lord.
Soon scenes of his life flashed across the sky and he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand one belonging to him and the other to the Father.
Then the saddest and lowest parts of his life flashed before his eyes and when he looked to see the father for guidance there was only one set of footprints.
Confused, he asked “Lord during the hardest times of my life, why is it you left me when it was then I needed you the most?”
The Lord then replied, “My precious, precious child, I would never leave your side, during the times of your life that were full of suffering and pain and there was only one set of footprints, that was when I Had Carried You.

Summary
This poem represents the difficult battle of inclusion in todays society and how homeless people are not incuded in our issues that are known as a national problem. It speaks to us in ways that God would never abandon his childrenb and it is our duty to help our brothers and sisters who are dieing every day. We need to be able to realise that the message is past to us in literature and in signs that resemble the pain of those who have passed before us. Their message of pain and suffering is passed onto us, and so is the question "If we will act on it".

These people are dieing and losing hope. God has done his part in warning us of the disaster at hand and he wants us to be the shepherd for his flock and shelter them from the darkness that shrouds our world. If we can make a Difference, then why don't we?
