Hey Guys,
First off I would like to once again give an olive branch to Mustard Festival people who are members of Fix Our World. All I have to say is, we salute you!
Secondly, I'm speaking to you not on behalf of Fix Our World. But as a person who wants to fix our world in any way I can for the benefit of humanity.
When my dad first came to Canada in 1968 from the Philippines. He had nothing but a suitcase. Back then he was sleeping in High Park in Toronto, going through Yo… Continue

Today's blog is dedicated to the manufacturing cities within the US and Canada still struggling. Recently I watched Eminem's new video on YouTube entitled "Beautiful". This is not the typical Eminem we knew a few years ago.
When I'm talking about those manufacturing cities, I'm talking about the Rust Belt. It is an area in parts of the Northeastern United States, Mid-Atlantic States, and portions of the Upper Midwest. The region can be broadly defined as the region beginning… Continue

(CNN) -- Nelson Mandela, anti-apartheid icon, Nobel peace laureate and South Africa's first black president, celebrated his 90th birthday Friday by doing something he had indicated he would not do again -- grant an interview to journalists.
A cheerful-looking Mandela welcomed CNN's Robyn Curnow, along with reporters from two other organizations, into the sitting room of his home in Qunu, a small village in the rolling hills of South Africa's eastern Cape region where he grew up.

The other day, Linda and myself have been debating about whether or not transit was the more faster way to commute from point a to point b. Lately, Linda has been taken the bus for a few months now since her car was under repairs. Her observations: too crowded, the seats are hard, and you basically restricted with the scheduling times. This experiment is to (more or less), set the record straight.
This year, Transportation Alternatives out of New York City held its 7th annual Commuter Challenge… Continue

From the Associate Press
Aid for Africa — and whether enough was coming from the world's major economic powers — was in the spotlight Monday as the Group of Eight nations met with seven African leaders at its annual summit.
Activists have accused some G-8 countries, particularly France, Canada and Italy, of skimping on aid to Africa, and urged them to ramp up their contributions. The U.S., Japan, Britain, Germany and Russia make up the other members of the G-8.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel… Continue

Farmers and activists concerned about soaring food prices and global warming are gathering for a demonstration in Hokkaido's main city of Sapporo.
The summit venue in a remote lakeside resort has been sealed off by thousands of police.
Previous G8 summits have been marred by clashes between police and protesters.

The United Nations (UN) has warned that the current global food crisis, compounded by a hike in fuel prices and climate change, will push more than 100 million people into poverty.
United Nations Deputy Secretary-General Asha Rose-Migiro said on Monday at the official opening of the 11th AU Heads of State and Government Summit that this development risked reversing the positive steps made toward… Continue

WASHINGTON, July 1 - The Group of Eight summit in Japan next week will bring together politically weak leaders to handle tough economic problems at a meeting where the Russian newcomer will be the center of curiosity.
The G8 countries are grappling with a faltering global economy and soaring oil and food prices for which they will likely produce statements of concern but little more, as short-term solutions for such intractable problems are not realistic, analysts say.

Welcome to ZimBOBwe. That's right! It's all about Robert Mugabe. He OWNS the place. He runs the government with an iron fist. He makes Hu Jin Tao look like a nice guy.
Since his inaugeration decades ago, the whole country has gone down the drain. Down to the crazy nuthouse bottom. It is so down, that he bans all aid organizations from countries just to prove his point. That he's not going to put up with western influence, and thinks he wants to do it my way or the highway.
It 's awfully cavali… Continue
