I recently had to endure the giant axe of domestic violence world. If your a male and you get thrown into the unfair justice system, I feel for you. I am totally against violence against anyone, including women children and men. A small argument and a kleenex box thrown in anger has changed four lives. A home is going to be lost, wife and kids put out into the street and the court system does not care. My wife does not want what happened and I can't go home for 15 months. this is on top of the 6 months i could not go home before court. I sat in court and watched man after man banned from home and in talking to them the all say the same thing. Frustration and an argument initiated a call to 911 and the wheels are turning. When those three numbers are dialled it can't be stopped. You and your family are on the way to ruin. I miss my wife and she misses me. Our finances are in ruin and everything we worked for is gone.
Nothing you did before this fateful moment means nothing. I have an award for bravery in which I saved a family from a burning truck. I have done this twice in my lifetime and the first time I could not save the person. I never drive by people in need. I rescued a thoroughbred horse from a busy highway and I have a coach of the year award. I was voted most liked at work and I am liked by everyone I meet. I made a very bad decision in throwing a kleenex box in my wife's direction and we all paid a huge price. This blog is a warning to couples who are experiencing problems. Please get help and do not let things brew for long periods of time. Put your kids on the top of your list, because they learn from everything you do. IF YOU ARE IN REAL DANGER CALL THE POLICE. If you are arguing and things are getting heated, walk away, please.
Domestic violence laws are designed to destroy families NOT protect women. More than ninety per cent of the cases involve power struggles NOT battered women. In more than 60 interviews at court, only one woman who fits the profile of a battered woman and she wanted the right to file (or not file) charges. A lawyer with 25 years experience in this field said that only 10% of his cases involved battered women.
What couple does not encounter stress, especially when they have children? But in the fever of emotion, a woman can call "911" and have three police cars there in minutes.
After this fateful act, she loses all control. The crown prosecutes her husband whether she likes it or not. He is jailed and prohibited from returning home. We have met many women who rue taking this action. They simply wanted the police to defuse a tense situation.
They don't realize that powerful forces want to exacerbate their problems in order to undermine the social fabric. These forces are determined to destroy the family and create dysfunctional people. Women in real danger, are lost in a sea of trivial cases.
This policy is designed to accustom society (both police and victims) to the intrusion of the government into private lives. Couples are arrested just for having an argument. Neighbors phone the police. What's next? Cameras in our homes.
Do Not Touch That Dial
Do not call the police if you or someone you know is having family problems. Please urge them to get away and talk to someone, because once you make that phone call, your family is on its way to ruin. You will regret calling the police.
In a tough economy people are experiencing money problems and at times tempers can flare. Do not think the police will solve your problems. They have one mandate and that is to charge.
100’s of families every year are ripped apart by your local police. Your families well being is at stake if you ignore this warning. Domestic laws are designed as one charge fits all and it is threatening the lives of people all over the province. I do not care what the situation is; I will never call the police again. A simple argument, a childish threat and a family is torn completely apart.
If you call the police, here is what will happen:
-The police will show up at your door. You may or may not say your husband pushed you. Your husband may say she pushed me. Does not have to be true. Your husband will be handcuffed, arrested and put in jail. He has just lost all of his rights.
-You are the victim apparently, but they will interrogate you like a criminal and anything you say will be used to put your husband away. Be very careful what you say.
- Husband is already guilty so he does not get to give a statement.
-your husband will be held in jail and may or may not get out. When he is released, he will have a court date.
- Be prepared, because your name will be all over the news and you, your kids will have to deal with the embarrassment.
-He will be banned from the home and there will be no communication and we are talking MONTHS.
- If you have kids CAS will be called and your kids could be removed.
-on one occasion my son was treated like a criminal and yelled and screamed at to make him talk.
-Bankruptcy is a high possibility and lawyer bills will be in the thousands, so say good bye to your kid’s education fund.
-Your husband will be supporting two places to live and I found families with extra bills, totaling $20 000. -$ 50 000.
-Do not think you can take it back the next day and say it was in anger, because it is too late and you have no control.
- You think the police are cold, wait until you deal with the court system, and you think you’re a victim, you are not.
- Victims Services will make every attempt to brain wash you, be careful. They will even lie to your spouse and make him think you hate him.
This is a system of pure laziness and it is easier to destroy ten families to convict one real violent offender. If you think the police are there to help you, you are mistaken. They do not care about you, or your family. Your kids and your home mean nothing. To serve and protect is nothing but a police trademark and the officers behind the wheel of that police car are trained robots, programmed to lay charges at all costs. The court system is all about stats and winning.
You are a statistic, a number and not a human.
